Around the world in languages week!

To celebrate languages week here at City, the students have organised and taken part in a fantastic range of workshops and activities. On Monday, the year 7s travelled the world through a variety of workshops, learning how to dance Flamenco, wobbling their way through a Tai Chi class, experiencing German virtual reality, then producing their own digital art in the style of French pointillism, and finally testing their knowledge of Italian culture with a kahoot quiz! At Thursday lunch all students and staff were invited to taster sessions for Portuguese and Arabic and Tamil, as well as presentations on the Arab League, Sri Lanka and French culture.
