We are excited to announce our new student leadership body, the ARGUE committee, dedicated to supporting debating, public speaking and Model UN activities at City. Last Wednesday, this newly appointed committee jumped straight into action on their mission to promote a culture of dialogue and debate across the school. Taking the form of a pop-up stall on B floor, our students gave everyone some light entertainment during breaktime and lunch by allowing passers-by to pick out a surprise topic and engage in a comedically passionate argument with their newly appointed ARGUE reps. Is a hotdog a sandwich? We heard some spirited arguments for both sides!
