Last week, year 8 were thrilled to attend animation workshops led by experienced contemporary artists.
The workshops focused on interesting ways we could bring our drawings to life. We explored methods such as stop motion animation using plasticine, as well as the use of two-dimensional puppets. In the workshop we created detailed flipbooks and learnt about the ways in which objects can be illustrated and animated. By the end of the day, we had created animations of sea creatures, monsters and inanimate objects. The workshops have provided lots of inspiration for our upcoming art projects.
