We kicked off the week with an inspiring aerospace careers day. Our year 11s took part in hands-on exploration of cutting-edge robotics, design, and flight, including a virtual drone flight and VR art creation. They were also introduced to Spot, the Boston Dynamics robot dog, who could respond to student questions in real time! Throughout the day, they gained invaluable insight into the many pathways into aerospace engineering, with talks from robotics experts, drone specialists, a digital artist and modeller, and an airline pilot.
