On Wednesday 15 November, a group of year 10-13 students travelled to Gray’s Inn for the launch of a new initiative entitled Advocating Girls. The evening brought together 90 students from six partner schools, as well as professionals across the judicial system, to celebrate a century of extraordinary women in advocacy and to consider issues facing women today. As as well as numerous student readings, we heard an inspiring address from the Rt Hon Lady Justice Geraldine Andrews DBE. CLSG students hosted a fascinating panel discussion with speakers including the Rt Hon Baroness Shami Chakrabarti CBE and Her Honour Judge Anuja Dhir KC. Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable and informative event, and we're excited for future plans.
