We were delighted to present our year 9 art exhibition, celebrating the outstanding work produced since the beginning of the academic year. Drawing inspiration from household vessels and organic forms, students explored the practice of artists such as Henry Moore and ceramicist Alison Owen. This research informed the development of an accomplished body of work, including ceramics, observational drawings, and printmaking. With over 300 artworks presented in the new hall, the exhibition was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the students’ creativity and the breadth of their thoughtful and insightful responses to these artists.
