Our music scholars took a trip to the Barbican, where we watched the prestigious BBC Symphony Orchestra rehearse. We heard some spectacular and challenging pieces by renowned composers, including Shostakovich's 11th Symphony and Beethoven's 2nd Piano Concerto. We were blown away by their talented performance and left thoroughly inspired by their musicianship and professionalism.

Chinese trip to the BFI
Our year 8 students studying Chinese attended a film day at the British Film Institute. Filled with engaging activities, including film screenings, discussions and interactive workshops, our students gained a glimpse into different aspects of Chinese society, history, and traditions. Our students were also able to practise their language skills in a real-world context, improving their listening, speaking, and comprehension abilities.
