Our year 8 trip to Normandy was très magnifique! After a fun crossing on the ferry, we arrived at the beautiful Château du Molay. We walked the D-Day landing beaches and attended a moving commemoration ceremony at Juno Beach, before unravelling the story behind the Bayeux Tapestry. We crossed the bay to the magical Mont Saint-Michel, exploring its 1300-year-old abbey and admiring its breathtaking Gothic Romanesque and Norman architecture. C’était absolument génial!
