Our year 10s took to the Thames foreshore on a recent art trip for some mudlarking magic with Tudor shards, clay pipes and even a ‘London Potato’, the delightful name for an eroded London brick. Students had to document their findings quickly before their hoard was washed away. Visit our Instagram to see close-ups before they were taken by the tide! They finished the day at the Hurvin Anderson exhibition at Tate Britain, which featured stunning layers of colour and provided plenty of inspiration to bring back to school.
