Our trip to the BFI offered a powerful moment of cross‑curricular reflection, bringing French and history together in a meaningful way. After building context and vocabulary, we watched Le Voyage de Fanny, the true story of Fanny Ben‑Ami and the brave journey Jewish children made as they fled occupied France for safety. The film deepened our understanding of the experiences of Jewish children during the Holocaust.
