Last Wednesday, years 8 and 9 watched a play in French, La Maison Hantée, performed by the theatre company Onatti.
It was about two young people finding a haunted house in the forest on their way back home... scary! We all found it very funny and enjoyed the audience participation. It was great to be immersed in the language and to realise how much French we already knew. The French actors were brilliant; they made it easy to follow the storyline and we learnt some new words too.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
