We recently welcomed Dr Daniel Starza Smith, a celebrated Early Modern scholar at King’s College London, to MoL Weston Theatre for an intellectually thrilling lecture entitled 'Donne and Corruption' to an audience of students, staff, parents, and alumnae. Dr Starza Smith outlined the context of Donne's life and times, drawing interesting comparisons with the current political landscape before giving a nuanced close analysis of several key poems.
