It was an absolute privilege to welcome Paralympian gold medalist Melanie Barratt to City to speak as part of our PSHCE programme. As the first blind person to swim the English Channel solo, she not only provided extraordinary inspiration for our students in training for the Channel swim, but also shared her incredible journey and how she overcame obstacles along the way.
