We went to Ashmole Academy for our first regional round of the ESU Schools' Mace debate competition. We had been given two weeks to prepare our debate on the motion 'this House would build housing on the green belt.' There were five other schools taking part, and we were very happy to be chosen to advance through to the next round in January.
