On Tuesday, the year 11 geography students left school bright and early to undertake fieldwork in Eastbourne.
The day was spent exploring various coastal processes which had already been studied in class. Much fun was had trying to detect the direction of longshore drift with the aid of an orange. The weather was kind to us as there was very little rain, but the wind was very cold and lunchtime afforded the opportunity to indulge in fish and chips, while undertaking some questionnaires. All in all a great time was had by all and the coach trip back allowed us all to catch up on some much needed sleep!
