Charities
Students are actively encouraged and supported in their fundraising efforts, focusing on one main charitable cause each year. In recent years, we have supported organisations such as the Royal British Legion and Street Child, making a meaningful impact through our collective efforts.
The sixth form charity committee plays a key role in selecting the main cause for the year by developing a shortlist of charities and organising a varied programme of fundraising events. These include longstanding traditions like our annual sponsored walk and summer fete, alongside creative one-off initiatives such as City’s Got Talent.
To further support these efforts, charity representatives in each form group actively contribute, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared responsibility across the school community. This collaborative approach not only raises vital funds but also helps instil a strong sense of empathy and civic responsibility among our students.
