Charities
Students are encouraged and supported in their fundraising around a variety of charitable causes, including the medical support organisation Mercy Ships, and educational charities - Niños de Guatemala and Street Child. The sixth form Mission Committee develop a shortlist of charities to raise money for, and coordinate our programme of fundraising events, ranging from our annual sponsored walk and summer fete to one-off innovations like City’s Got Talent.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
