The chances to engage in leadership and develop independence at CLSG are many and varied, ranging from being a school or house prefect, running an academic or co-curricular club, being a reading mentor or sustainability representative to captaining a sports team. Not only do these experiences help develop pupils for life beyond school, but they help grow confidence and a sense of self too.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
