Shravan has had a successful career in the upstream international energy sector for over 20 years. He was elected to the City of London Corporation in 2018 and sits on several committees, as well as being the deputy chairman of licensing. He is a past master of the Fuellers Livery Company and also a court member of the Blacksmiths Company. He is chair of governors for the City’s Southwark schools cluster and a donation governor at Christ’s Hospital School. He was awarded an MBE by The Queen for services to diversity and the British Hindu community in the 2021 New Year Honours and continues to work for those aims in his public service roles.

Shavran was appointed in March 2020.  He is a member of the bursary committee and has designated responsibility for the area of diversity and inclusion.
