Pride society
Pride Society runs every Friday and is open to all year groups. We discuss topics surrounding the LGBTQ+ community, and issues of equality and intersectionality. In addition, we raise awareness through whole-school assemblies, form times and events such as LGBTQ+ History Month. Pride Society is a lot of fun and our tag line is - "You don't have to come out to come in". It provides a safe space to be yourself and to find out more, where you can make friends and support others

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
