Detective club
Run by students, detective society teaches its members valuable skills to strengthen critical thinking abilities and investigative skills in a fun, open environment. This involves everything from spotting a lie to identifying ciphers. The members discuss famous historical cases and follow the problem solving and logic that was used, in order to learn how to replicate that inquisitive mind set and lateral thinking for themselves.

Year 12 mathematicians had a great trip to the maths in action conference last week. Topics covered included Fermat's last theorem and transforming mobius strips, how MRI scanners function & how numbers determine which musical notes sound good together.
