Creative writing club
In senior creative writing club students from years 10 - 13 meet once a week and get involved in a variety of activities to foster and inspire creative writing. They work together to generate new writing, workshop and respond to each other’s work. The club encourages students to enter writing competitions and culminates in the compilation of an anthology of student work. The students are encouraged to share their writing at the end of the session, so improving their confidence in their creative ability and public speaking.
‘Here, what counts are ideas. And in the heat of adolescence, students can develop what they think and believe is important, often giving them confidence that will last a lifetime.’ Read @clsghead ‘s article in today’s @telegraph via the link in our bio.
