old girls' association

Most girls continue their membership of the School after they leave by joining the association of former pupils. The association meets regularly for social functions. Its members offer work experience and careers advice to pupils, and promote business and professional connections amongst those who have left. Its annual magazine is sent to all members.

ABOUT CLOGA

The City of London Old Girls' Association began its life two years after the school started in 1894. The original aim was to provide the means for former pupils to keep in touch with each other and the school.

The aims of CLOGA today have changed very little over the years. It arranges meetings, reunions and outings to places of interest. It produces an excellent magazine each year with contributions from former pupils from all over the world and across the generations. The School is regarded with particular affection by many Old Girls and there are always a number of girls at the School whose mothers and sometimes grandmothers attended the school so the tradition of being educated at City is maintained.

With the abolition of the Assisted Places Scheme some very able girls were denied admission to the School. CLOGA aims to raise funding for scholarships and bursaries.
