netball

Netball is one of the most popular sports at City.

Students practice during lunchtimes in the gymnasium and on the outside sports pitch. The girls have enjoyed playing against other schools, with considerable success.

2013 - 2014 Report

City Netballers have been considerably strong within this academic year, maintaining City's reputation for great netball. All four senior school age groups were able to compete in the Middlesex County Netball Finals 2013.

The U19 team was placed 3rd in the county, U16 team placed 4th, U15 placed 6th and the U14 team placed 5th within their respective groups. This is a fantastic achievement by these teams.

Girls in Year 8 & Year 9 travelled to Condover Hall, Shropshire for a residential weekend trip focusing on netball skills and tournaments. The girls thoroughly enjoyed new competition and the coaching that they received from a professional Netball player for England.
