gymnastics

City's gymnasts can be seen during lunchtime training sessions tumbling through the air and perfecting team routines in the school's fully equipped gym. This energetic group have enjoyed success at various regional meets throughout the year.

They also perform for the school community during the Gym and Dance Display, held every two years. Girls from various age groups take part in this event which showcases their balance, poise and coordination through team and individual displays.

2012 - 2013 Report

Gymnastics has been well represented this year with a fantastic end to 2012 in the Gym and Dance Display. Our U19 teams were well placed in 5th and 8th positions in the Carita House trio competition. Novice Gymnasts are showing great promise and perfomed extremely well this March. The U9 team were the positioned 4th overall and U11 team came 8th.

City's Gymnasts were treated to an inspiring masterclass from Amanda Parker, the Olympic Reserve Trampolinist who visited the school in the Spring term.
