On Tuesday afternoon a Staff Concert was held to raise money for the charity Asylum Aid.
By the time the first performer took to the stage, the Main Hall was packed with students waiting to enjoy the talents of staff from all departments. Performances included opera singing, virtuoso piano, the electric guitar, and a tongue-twisting song called 'The Elements'.
The staff choir pulled together to perform a heart-warming rendition of Billy Joel's "And So It Goes", and the formidable ukulele band ended the night with an exciting performance of "Blame It on the Boogie", complete with a lead singer, drums and bass.
We would like to thank everyone involved for making this such a fun and successful night!
