Year 12 and 13 physics trip to CERN

Earlier this week, our Sixth Form Physicists visited CERN in Geneva during a three-day trip to the Swiss city.

CERN is the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, where physicists and engineers probe the structure of the universe. The organisation is renowned for its studies on fundamental particles and the laws of nature.

The group also visited the United Nations Office at Geneva during the trip, where they were given a tour of the building and grounds.
